United Way of Southwestern Indiana is committed to addressing the greatest challenges facing our community and improving lives for all of us in Vanderburgh, Warrick and Spencer Counties. United Way is focused on key issues, such as fulfilling basic needs, early childhood development, helping school-age youth succeed and increasing financial stability for working families.

United Way has a simple number that can connect you to the help you need. 2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember three-digit dialing system (similar to 9-1-1 and 4-1-1) that makes a simple but critical connection between individuals and families seeking services or volunteer opportunities and the appropriate community-based organizations and government agencies. All help is free and confidential and is available for a wide variety of needs, including housing, employment, legal aid, health care, food, counseling and more.
2-1-1 service is available in Spencer, Vanderburgh,Warrick orPosey counties. Daviess, Gibson, Knox or Pike residents may dial 800-639-9271 for assistance.
